Throughout her career, Anna has specialized in the siting and development of energy projects throughout the United States. She comes to Sonder Energy from a national engineering firm, where she provided site selection and early-stage due diligence services to utilities, municipalities, renewable energy developers, and other clients to set projects up for success.
She also supported environmental permitting and zoning efforts for projects in the power and industrial sectors. With experience across a wide range of unique project needs, and a background in geography, urban planning, and environmental science, Anna now supports all stages of development for Sonder’s projects.

Ben started developing utility-scale solar projects in 2014. He has been the lead developer on over 30 now-operating projects and involved in the success of dozens more in different markets throughout the country.
Ben has deep experience in the full scope of development responsibilities, from site identification and acquisition to utility relationships, due diligence, permitting, tax abatements and financial closings.
Before joining the solar industry, Ben was awarded a Fulbright grant to Bogota, Colombia, where he taught English and volunteered at a natural resources research institute.

Blair most recently served as Chief Business Development Officer at a national solar company. During his 8 years at the company, Blair was an active project developer, head of EPC sales, and originated utility relationships across the southeast.
Blair was integral in advancing over 1 GW of solar projects as well as winning over 750 MWs of EPC business and direct project sales resulting in over $1 billion dollars of revenue for the company.
Prior to his renewable energy career, Blair worked for 20 years in the music industry. During his 10-year tenure at BMG, Blair worked directly with artists and artist management to forge new business models with the labels he represented. After BMG, he moved to AOL Europe where he ran the music channel. He then moved to MusicNet, where he developed and launched digital entertainment platforms for Tesco, HMV, Samsung and Virgin Media.

Brian is an experienced clean energy executive with over 25 years in energy and project development. Prior to co-founding Sonder Energy, he held leadership roles in solar, wind, real estate, and oil & gas.
As SVP of Strategy and Government Affairs for a national solar company, he led all external affairs, policy and regulatory activities, and was a key player in the early startup of the company’s energy storage business. Before that, he was President and Founder of the Southeastern Wind Coalition, where he led wind energy development, policy, and advocacy efforts in the Southeast.
Brian has extensive experience in energy, project development, project management, engineering, policy, and finance. He began his career as an engineer with ExxonMobil on deep water, offshore oil & gas operations in West Africa. He has also led development teams and finance efforts in the U.S. real estate industry.

Jackson spent the last 20 years of his career in the real estate and energy industries. Prior to co-founding Sonder Energy, he was the Director of Development for a national solar company where he led development efforts in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
In his six years as Director of Development, Jackson oversaw more than 100 successful utility scale solar projects from inception to construction. Previously, Jackson worked at North Highland Worldwide Consulting where he focused on the energy and utility industry. Jackson was also an instructor at Duke University where he taught a course on Renewable Energy Development.

Levi joined Sonder Energy in 2025 with a background in finance and energy systems. Before joining Sonder, Levi worked for a clean energy non-profit, helping to build a $1 Million loan program for tax-exempt organizations to integrate solar energy into their operations.
Levi is passionate about using novel financial tools to help develop and mobilize renewable energy projects for communities across the country. With experience in financial valuation, hydrology, and data analysis, he now supports all stages of development for Sonder’s projects.
Levi is also an avid trail runner and gardener.

Morgan joined Sonder Energy in 2024 with a background in project management and support in a variety of fields. Before working in solar development, she coordinated the logistics for winter sporting events at the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympic legacy venues, supported ongoing cases and trial preparation while working with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and supported public programing and company governance with a U.S.-China diplomacy nonprofit in New York City.
An active outdoor enthusiast and passionate about the future of renewable energy, Morgan now leverages her problem-solving skills to support all stages of Sonder Energy development projects.
Morgan is fluent in Mandarin.

Neil has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate in the southeast United States. As the Director of Landowner relations at Sonder Energy, he leads all lease and purchase negotiations and he is the touchstone for all our landowner contact.
Before joining Sonder, Neil was a landman for several national solar development firms where he was successful in contracting dozens of projects totaling hundreds of new MWs of utility scale solar projects.
Neil is also an avid tennis player and tennis coach.

Sam has more than 10 years of experience developing renewable energy and storage projects in multiple markets across the US. As the Director of Development at Sonder, he leads development and strategic activities with a particular focus on the MISO, SPP and PJM markets.
Before joining Sonder, Sam was Senior Manager of Development and later Director of Development of Enel Green Power’s northeast region where he and team managed an approximately 3 gigawatt solar-storage hybrid pipeline, and directed development on over 1 gigawatt of greenfield solar storage hybrid and wind projects. Prior to his time at Enel, Sam worked at a national solar company where he led the development of over 50 solar and storage projects, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic US, the majority of which secured offtake and began construction between 2014 and 2021.
Before his time in renewables, Sam held positions in the legal and real estate industries.
